Michael Korelis has extensive experience in general corporate and commercial law. He has worked as a junior lawyer in the litigation department in one of the oldest litigation firms on the island. He then worked as a senior lawyer for over six years in the corporate department of one of the leading law firms in Cyprus. He deals with all aspects of corporate law, including the incorporation, management and structuring of Cyprus and international corporate entities, the drafting and implementation of shareholders’ agreements and their incorporation in the Articles of Association of companies.
He has extensive experience in drafting commercial and corporate agreements including share purchase and security documentation and issuing legal opinions on the good standing of companies, legal due diligence, proper execution of corporate transactions. He also advises on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and foreign judgments in Cyprus.
