Christina Kotsapa was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2004 and has built an extensive career in litigation and dispute resolution, having practised for many years within the litigation department of one of Cyprus’ oldest and most highly regarded law firms. In 2018, she joined Korelis & Co. LLC as a Partner and has since played a leading role in the continued development of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice.

Christina advises and represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial and civil disputes, with particular expertise in contractual and property-related claims, corporate and shareholder disputes, joint venture disputes, insolvency matters and ancillary proceedings arising from wider commercial disputes.

She has considerable experience in multi-jurisdictional civil fraud and asset recovery matters, frequently involving urgent applications for interim relief and worldwide freezing injunctions. Her practice includes advising on and pursuing applications before the Cyprus Courts for interim measures, worldwide freezing injunctions and other protective remedies, including measures designed to prevent the dissipation or alienation of assets. She also advises and represents clients in matters concerning the recognition, enforcement and execution of Cypriot and foreign judgments.

Christina has developed particular expertise in banking and financial litigation, representing banking institutions, corporate entities and private clients in complex disputes and contentious matters. Her experience also includes representing clients in proceedings involving the Central Bank of Cyprus, providing strategic advice and representation in matters requiring a sophisticated understanding of both legal and regulatory considerations.

Throughout her career, Christina has represented clients before a wide range of judicial and regulatory bodies in Cyprus, including the Supreme Court of Cyprus, District Courts, Employment Tribunal and the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition.

As Director and Head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, Christina provides strategic leadership to the firm’s contentious practice and oversees the conduct of complex and high-stakes disputes. Her approach combines extensive courtroom and litigation experience with rigorous case strategy, commercial judgement and a strong focus on achieving effective outcomes for clients.
